    To whom it may concern,
    I have known Clarisen Lacuata for 4 years, first meeting her when I brought her onboard
    to work for me as a tutor at After School Heroes, llc, an Enrichment center in which Ive
    managed and directed at in Honolulu, Hawaii.
    I highly recommend Clarisen to work for any educational setting. Her commitment to
    being an effective, caring teacher was evident in her work and she always sought out
    ways to improve. Her students enjoyed working with her, often personally requesting to
    be paired with her for their sessions. She effortlessly took students in from different
    cultures, social-economic backgrounds, and academic levels, performing equally well
    with gifted students who needed to be challenged as with ESLL students who do not
    speak or understand the classroom's language at all. With her ESLL students, she
    adapted different methodologies into her lessons, such as drawing pictures, using
    music, taking advantage of online video resources, and body movement to help her
    students understand and enjoy learning English.
    Clarisen was a huge asset to our team, making a positive difference in the dynamic of
    the work space for the students and her peers. I trusted Clarisen to be the acting
    supervisor of the classroom on my behalf when I was unable to attend. Her roles
    included lesson planning, tutoring, and progress reporting, but she has consistently
    volunteered her time to do more, such as following up with student's parents and
    teachers, mentoring other tutors, and ensuring lesson plans were correctly executed.
    For the reasons above, I firmly believe that Clarisen would be an amazing fit for the
    kindergarten school teacher position at Crane School District.
