General Goals:
Enhancing Learning:
This course will give hands on experience in learning about American History
from 1900-present. While, taking this course students will be actively
involved in discussion board weekly that will count as a presentation grade

and the discussion boards will enhance the learning of the students. The
students will use their technology skills to complete a presentation that they
will give to the class (group of 4) while taking this course. The students will
have a 2 part final that they will complete at the end of the course.
Feedback Surveys (3 total): These surveys have been placed throughout the
course to help the instructor gather feedback on areas that could use
improvement.

Discussion Board: Students will write their opinion on the civil rights
movement and respond to two other classmates.
Watch Tegrity Video (Civil Rights Movement)
Read Chapter 9 in textbook.
Write Civil Rights Movement Paper.
No weekly Quiz.
