I chose this goal because I


tend to be slightly passive in
the field while teaching my
lessons. I know how
important it is to have
control of the classroom in
terms of student behavior
and know that
implementing these
strategies will make that
happen.

made great progress in


achieving this goal. I
became much more
assertive and commanded
attention of the students
during my second
practicum.
I chose this goal because I
have had some
organizational issues when
it comes to filing away
worksheets, and lesson
plans, resulting in them
becoming damaged or lost. I
know that by implementing
these strategies this goal can
be met.
Reflection: I became
MUCH more organized
this semester, using tools
such as filing folders, and
plastic bins to store all of
my work and lesson plans.
I found that I was able to
find things much more
easily, and that really
helped my overall success.

lesson planning, check off
those that have been hit.
Research different ways to
incorporate multiple

during lesson plan.
Observe students to know
their needs.

I chose this goal because I


sometimes do not use
enough multiple
intelligences in my lesson
plans. I know how crucial it
is that every student has
their needs met and know
that by implementing these
strategies I will meet this
goal.
Reflection: I think that I
could still improve in this
area, but I did make some
significant gains toward
this goal this semester. I
made it a point to make
universally designed
lesson plans, to help
ensure the success of all
type of learners. I think
that showed in my five
lesson plans during
practicum this semester;
my mentor was very
helpful in making sure
that I was able to meet this
goal.

experience so much, and I would love to find other
ways for them to implement online writing into my
