Titan 2000 DR - Digital Radiography for Veterinarians

There are numerous digital x-ray devices for veterinarians on the market; however, the Titan 2000 DR combines in a unique way the best characteristics and features of all products. The Titan 2000 DR was designed in cooperation with a leading veterinarian and combines the best characteristics and features of all other X-ray systems on the market to bring you simple, easy operation; fast and efficient patient throughput; superior image quality; and serious cost reductions. With its small footprint, the Titan 2000 DR requires less space than any conventional X-ray system. The 17 x 17 digital image receptor produces a much larger field of view and simplifies patient positioning with only a two-way float top table. Furthermore, the X-ray beam is always centered to the receptor, making patient positioning fast, easy and precise. The versatile high frequency X-ray generator is powerful, easy to install and easy to use. Power output is 20kW up to 40kW depending on the electrical installation. X-ray technicians can control the generator from the touch-screen preview monitor or from the workstation, whichever is more convenient. Time consuming technique choices are eliminated by precise anatomical programming presets for a perfect exposure every time, while custom techniques require only a fingertip to overwrite default values. The X-ray exposure is initiated by the foot pedal at the table or by mouse click at the workstation. Within just a few seconds the preview image is displayed on both the preview monitor and at the workstation. With only a few mouse clicks your image is processed and ready for diagnosis using Comeds proprietary VetView image processing software. It doesnt get any easier! And VetPACS provides DICOM file transfer; patient search; image comparison; CD/DVD burning; and DICOM film print. VetPACS is customizable to any size veterinary clinical environment, any number of modalities and any number of workstations. The Titan 2000 DR system is shipped in a single crate L 65 x W 61 x H 47, total weight is 1,100 lbs. Installation of the Titan 2000 DR is simple Plug & Play and should take no more than 2 to 3 hours. Assemble the vertical column; mount the X-ray tube and collimator; mount the preview monitor and switch panel; a diagram explains the electrical connections. The generator is thoroughly pre-calibrated by a Comed engineer and an engineer will also log into the preview computer after the hardware installation is complete for a remote check of proper functionality. Verbal communications during this process can be established by using Skype. This support makes the installation fast, easy, and very professional. In no time, you will be ready to start realizing all the benefits that the Titan 2000 DR will be bringing to your practice for years to come.
