Galaxy AI has been developed from the ground up to provide users with a simpler way of doing many tasks. Samsung has thoughtfully developed all of these artificial intelligence features to enable users to interact with their phones and the world around them in ways not possible before.
The Transcript Assist feature is a great example of how Samsung has kept usability at the forefront when building Galaxy AI. This feature takes the pain out of having to manually transcribe voice recordings. It does that with just one tap of a button and even creates summaries of the recordings.
What is Transcript Assist
The Transcript Assist feature is built right into Samsung's Voice Recorder app. This is a native app so you'll find it on all Galaxy AI compatible devices. The feature makes it super simple to transcribe voice recordings into text. Once it transcribes the entire recording, there's also an option to have it create an intelligent summary, so users can simply look at the summary and understand at a glance the gist of the voice recording. The integrated translate feature also makes it easy to translate the text into different languages.
How to enable Transcript Assist
Transcript Assist is enabled by default. It can be accessed the in the Voice Recording app through these simple steps:
- Launch the Voice Recorder app
- Tap on the recording you want to transcribe
- Tap on the Transcribe button
