Besides its Neo QLED and OLED TVs, Samsung also unveiled Micro LED TVs at its event ahead of the CES 2024 expo. During its AI For All event, Samsung unveiled its next-generation Micro LED TV lineup, and the new technology offers a transparent panel that is see-through.
This new Micro LED technology and the TVs that use this tech will be showcased at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, USA. Let us have a look at Samsung's transparent Micro LED technology.
Samsung's new Micro LED panels are transparent
The new Micro LED display technology from Samsung offers a see-through design, letting you see what's on the display's rear. This technology is great for some applications, including giant scoreboards in homes and stadiums. It can also be used for innovative advertisements in commercial use cases. Samsung says the possibilities are endless.
The panel looks like glass, as Micro LED chips are printed on a piece of glass with precision manufacturing processes that eliminate seams and refractions. You can have a look at it in our detailed hands-on video below.
Samsung's Micro LED panels are modular, so you can use several modules to create any aspect ratio, shape, or size for a TV. The new TV lineup of Micro LED TVs are available in ready-to-use 76-inch, 89-inch, 101-inch, and 114-inch sizes. Pricing or availability of these TVs hasn't been announced, but expect them to cost several thousands of dollars in the US.
