Slaying the flash player using SIGTERM or SIGKILL running on the iMX35 platform with a OpenVG driver can result in the 'termer' thread getting blocked indefinitely. This will manifest as the inability of the flash player to be restarted. The previous instance of 'flash' will not show up in the pidin output, however it's PID can still be seen in /proc/. The situation can be verified by taking and checking a kernel event log where the flash 'termer' thread will be seen to be blocked on io-display.
