I am a clinical intern at Gilbert Counselors under Terri Roman's (LPC) supervision. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix. I am working towards completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis on children and adolescent disorders at Grand Canyon University. A little about myself: I have lived in Arizona all of my life but love to travel when I can. I enjoy art and painting as well as spending time with my family during my free time. I am passionate about helping other people. I believe everyone should have access to help when they need it.
I love working with children and adolescents, and young adults using DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), art therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness which provides a holistic and integrative approach to mental health care for young clients. I help children and teens develop the skills they need to manage big emotions, express themselves, and find peace within
As a therapist specializing in working with children and adolescents, I understand how overwhelming it can feel when your child is struggling with emotions, behaviors, or challenges they can't quite put into words. If your child could benefit from additional support, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone.
