John Travolta

John Travolta is an American actor and singer. He shot to fame in the 1970s on the TV series Welcome Back, Kotter and in the 1977 dance drama Saturday Night Fever. He earned an Oscar nomination for Best Actor in 1978 for Saturday Night Fever. Travolta's other famous films and TV series include Grease (1978), Urban Cowboy (1980), Pulp Fiction (1994), Get Shorty (1995), Face/Off (1997), Primary Colors (1998), Swordfish (2001), Hairspray (2007). Travolta was also nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 1995, and he won a Primetime Emmy Award for outstanding supporting actor on The People v. O.J. Simpson anthology series. In March 2022, Travolta announced he received his third aviation license to pilot a Boeing 737.
