Behind the Scenes with Kenza Layli: How AI is Powering the Next Generation of Digital Influencers

The AI-influencer “Kenza Layli” just recently won the title of “Miss AI” at the FanVenue World AI Creator Awards. We interviewed Myriam Bessa - the CEO of the creative agency behind the influencer (“l’atelier” ) - about how the challenges in the creation process and how AI is going to influence content creation in the future.

What were the ideas/ motivations behind the project ?

 

Kenza Layli and her virtual family were created to combine our expertise in the field of influencer marketing with advancements in artificieal intelligence. The idea was to introduce a virtual personality that could not only interact authentically with the community but also provide relevant advice and information on a variety of topics, ranging from technology to business.

Take us through the process of how you created the „AI-personality" How and at which points during the development process did you use AI?

 

The creation of Kenza Layli combined advanced AI technology with creative storytelling to develop a relatable and aspirational virtual personality. From the start, AI was integral to analyzing audience preferences, shaping her personality traits, and refining her lifelike CGI visuals. Natural Language Processing (NLP) models enabled her to engage authentically, while machine learning algorithms tailored her content to resonate with her audience. AI tools also supported the design of her interactions and continuous optimization by analyzing engagement data to improve responses and content strategies. The result is a culturally rich and technologically advanced AI influencer who authentically connects with her community.

What was the feedback, and how did you react to it?


The feedback on Kenza Layli has been overwhelmingly positive, with audiences praising her lifelike visuals, authentic interactions, and cultural representation. Many were impressed by her ability to provide engaging content while showcasing Moroccan heritage in a modern context. This encouraged us to further enhance her personality and expand her areas of expertise to appeal to a wider audience. Constructive feedback also helped us identify areas for improvement, such as refining her responses or diversifying her content. We took these insights seriously, leveraging AI tools to fine-tune her communication style and ensure she continues to meet audience expectations.

 

What are your plans for the future regarding content creation with AI?


Looking ahead, I believe AI is going to play a central role in transforming how content is created, managed, and distributed. As someone who's deeply involved in the evolution of AI personalities, like my AI persona Kenza Layli, I see endless possibilities in blending AI-driven creativity with human innovation. One of the key steps I’m taking to support this future is through Buzztest, a platform I’ve developed to revolutionize how brands and creators collaborate.


Buzztest uses AI to power influencer and content creator campaigns, making it easier for brands to connect with the right individuals, track campaign progress, and generate high-quality, authentic content. By leveraging the AI capabilities of Buzztest, we can ensure that the content we create is not only innovative but also meaningful and engaging for audiences.

Looking forward, we’re planning to integrate AI-driven features even further, helping creators like Kenza Layli take their content to new levels, while providing seamless management and collaboration for brands. The future of content creation with AI, especially through platforms like Buzztest, is incredibly exciting, and I’m thrilled to be part of shaping it!
