Let's head to Spain ladies!
While RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under will kick off its first-ever season this Saturday, Drag Race Espana is finally giving fans a first look at its queens. 10 contestants will compete to become Spain's First Drag Superstar and if these images are any indication, there's certainly some talen tamong them. Of them, at the time of publishing, Killer Queen was the most followed on Instagram with just over 20,000 followers.
The show will stream worldwide on WOW Presents Plus, excluding Spain. In Spain it will play on Atres Player Premium. According to a tweet, the show will debut on Sunday, May 30, meaning that it will run as Down Under is running.
The series has tapped drag performer Supremme de Luxe as the host and head judge for the panel. She is the first person who made their career as a drag performer to host a version of Drag Race as a solo act. She is a native Madrid and well known in the community.
Joining her will be the creative duo Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi. U.S. fans will likely know their names as the creators of HBO Max's Veneno. Designer Ana Locking will round out the panel. Paca La Pirana, who was an actress in Veneno and an inspiration for it will join the judging panel as a guest as will actor Jon Kortajarena.
