Hip-hop star NLE Choppa dropped his latest single, "Slut Me Out 2," on Friday. Pretty much immediately, the chaotic rap song and music video ignited some discourse across social media.
Rappers, especially the heterosexual ones, are rarely camp these days. However, NLE Choppa is unafraid to be over-the-top in his appreciation for women. "If I was a bad bitch, I'd wanna f*ck me too," he raps with a cartoonish look on his face. In a particularly memorable moment, he takes a long sniff of a woman and raps, "Mm, smell like badussy."
Following the video's release, Choppa took the time to share what "badussy" means.
"Badussy And Bussy Two Different Things," he posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday, April 13. "Badussy is a Memphis term meaning something smelling like booty, d*ck, and p*ssy referring to the smell of intercourse between a man and woman."
Bussy, of course, is a queer slang term widely known as a mashup of the words "boy" and "pussy," typically used to describe a man's asshole.
After putting that to bed, Choppa showed love to the LGBTQ+ community for vogueing to the new song. He also rebuffed speculation about his sexuality in a refreshingly mature way.
"I'm noticing the LGBTQ community showing so much love to 'Slut Me Out 2' And I Simply Want To Say Thank You," he posted. "IDC what's normalized as a rapper, I was raised to F*ck with who f*ck with you! So thank y'all for appreciating my craft.. My music For ALL we do NO Discrimination."
And after someone in the comments called him gay, the rapper replied, "I'm gay for showing love ? Y'all men lost that's why we killing each other everyday cause y'all can't show love and whole time yall be the ones that get down like that but be hiding it! Me saying thank you got nun to do with my sexuality busta."
