Nicholas Galitzine, the star — and heartthrob — that you are!
Between playing characters like Prince Henry in Red, White & Royal Blue, George Villiers on Mary & George, and Hayes in The Idea of You, Galitzine is undoubtedly one of the biggest movie stars of this generation.
But it seems like the actor still has a hard time discussing his good looks, which was a topic of conversation during his latest interview. "What does it feel like to have that face, the kind that studios bankrolling films believe could launch a thousand ships?" British GQ writer Xuanlin Tham wrote. "I try to approach the subject with Galitzine, but any insinuation of his beauty slides right off him."
In response, Galitzine brought up Taylor Zakhar-Perez, who played his love interest in Red, White & Royal Blue. "Look, I can speak about this 'cause Taylor is a close friend of mine," Galitzine replied. "But Taylor is like an Adonis. It was difficult, in some aspects, being so closely compared to him."

Later in the interview, Galitzine highlighted a few insecurities he's had. Growing up, the actor got used to feeling "disgusted" by his face and sunken eyes — noting that people on social media would tell him to get some sleep — as well as his "rugby-player thighs" and "big ass."
But even now that Galitzine's good looks have gained him a legion of fans, Galitzine is still not entirely interested in only being seen that way. The Bottoms star explained:
"The most important thing to me is that I'm taken seriously as a performer. I'm not gonna ask you to cry me a river here, but it's been difficult being part of a conversation that feels very much like I am a cut of beef at a meat market. I think [looks] being my defining feature is something I'm constantly terrified of."
The Idea of You is now streaming on Prime Video. You can also watch Red, White & Royal Blue on Prime Video.
