Sanford police are searching for the girlfriend of the woman charged with murder in the Tuesday night shooting of another woman in a fight livestreamed on Facebook.

Authorities issued the arrest warrant for 31-year-old Lakevia Pringle days after Savon Tyler, 35, was arrested for killing Lauren Martin, 34. Pringle is accused of being a principal to murder as she was the one holding the camera when Martin arrived at Tyler’s home on Travertine Terrace.

Tyler, armed with a gun and children’s baseball bat, got into a scuffle with Martin outside the home, shooting her twice once Martin got hold of the bat. Pringle encouraged her to shoot, according to a report detailing Tyler’s arrest.

“Fire her ass up,” she said, according to investigators, followed by the two shots that killed Martin. Investigators said they currently possess the videos, which could no longer be found online.

A Sanford Police Department spokesperson told the Orlando Sentinel no other charges were pending after Tyler’s arrest, but the agency said in a news release Friday the decision to issue a warrant for Pringle came after consulting with the Brevard-Seminole State Attorney’s Office.

“Multiple attempts to interview Pringle were unsuccessful due to her lack of cooperation,” spokesperson Michael Hernandez added. Anyone with information about the shooting or Pringle’s whereabouts is asked to call SPD or Crimeline at 800-423-8477.

The beef between Tyler and Martin stemmed from a disagreement over photos Martin took that played out on social media, according to news reports. It escalated from there with Martin ultimately driving over to Tyler’s neighborhood.

Tyler later told police she acted in self-defense, though later changing her story to say she was worried about the children living in her home, even though Martin didn’t arrive with a weapon.

“What started the argument between these two won’t be remembered, but the loss of Lauren will forever be with her family and friends,” Chief Cecil Smith said after Tyler’s arrest. “There are choices other than violence.”
