A paid for ad feature for viagogo
Festivals might be announcing their line-ups for summer 2025 and supermarkets filling shelves with Christmas choc – but the year isn’t over yet.
Instead of hiding away for the next few months wishing for warmer weather, why not get out of the house and enjoy some of the incredible live music that’s blessing UK venues in the coming weeks? From Charli XCX’s first UK arena tour to Amyl And The Sniffers’ fiery punk assault on the senses, there’s something for everyone…
Sites such as viagogo allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.
Charli XCX
Charli broke through in the biggest way possible with ‘Brat’ this summer. Her album of euphoric, rave-ready bangers has made political headlines and been remixed by everyone from Lorde to Billie Eilish. After the chaotic party that was her Sweat co-headline tour with Troye Sivan dominated US arenas and social media, Charli’s coming home for a first ever UK arena tour. Slime-green tees at the ready.

Fontaines D.C.
Fontaines D.C. have always been great but fourth album ‘Romance’ saw the Irish rockers swap post-punk for the rebellious freedom of nu-metal. A snotty, ‘00s-inspired record, the likes of ‘Starburster’ and ‘Here’s The Thing’ are delivered with a newfound swagger while ‘Favourite’ is a tender anthem that’s built for stadium-sized singalongs. Next year the band headlines London’s Finsbury Park but before that, there’s a massive UK headline run.

The Dare
The Dare, aka Harrison Patrick Smith, first broke through with 2022’s viral indie sleaze-inspired ‘Girls’ but after teaming up with Charli XCX on ‘Brat’ track ‘Guess’, his popularity has skyrocketed. He’s already confirmed a massive UK headline tour for next year but before that, there’s a chance to catch him in the sort of sweaty clubs that his music was clearly written for.
The Dare plays:

21 – Belgrave Music Hall, Leeds

Sports Team
After some time away, indie pranksters Sports Team are set to release their third album ‘Boys These Days’ early next year. What better way to showcase their cathartic, chaotic rock tunes than a number of rowdy headline shows up and down the country? “We had two years away from playing live and wanted to capture the physicality of being in a packed room with people you love,” said the band’s rhythm guitarist and vocalist Rob Knaggs about recent single ‘Condensation’.

Sleep Token
For a while, Sleep Token were the biggest cult band in metal. Now with a sold-out UK arena tour and a slot at the top of Download Festival next year (alongside living legends Green Day and Korn), they’re undeniably one of the greats. Sure, the band don’t do interviews and have yet to reveal their true identities but that doesn’t stop their giddy blend of pop, R&B and brutal riffs from sounding absolutely incredible.
Sleep Token play:

Beabadoobee
After building a loyal following with her coming-of-age anthems, Beabadoobee’s third album ‘This Is How Tomorrow Moves’ saw her in a more reflective and more vulnerable mood – but Bea is still a generational rockstar. When she performed at Reading & Leeds Festival earlier this summer, the massive crowds fizzed with an electric excitement and that energy is only going to be more charged at her own shows.
Beabadoobee plays:
NOVEMBER
15 – O2 Academy, Birmingham
16 – O2 Victoria Warehouse, Manchester
17 – O2 Academy, Leeds
19 – Dome, Brighton
20 – Beacon, Bristol
21 – Alexandra Palace, London
Courteeners
We might be in the middle of a cold and dark November but Courteeners always make it feel like summer. The Manchester scalliwags have just released new album ‘Pink Cactus Café’ which they described as a “psychedelic dream”. With the indie legends wanting to inspire a “dance like no one’s watching” freedom, these gigs are set to be one hell of a euphoric party.
