Dear Sa-chan

Kyosuke Katagiri attends college in Tokyo while maintaining a relationship with his girlfriend back home. One day, he meets his alluring neighbor.

Sachi's friend warns her about the risks of long-distance relationships. Kyosuke's playboy classmate tells him he thinks they share the same vibe.

Sachi comes to Tokyo to surprise Kyosuke but gets lost on the way to his apartment. She receives some help from Shino, who happens to be passing by.

Kyosuke starts to come down with a cold after Sachi returns home. While sitting behind Kyosuke during a class, Misuzu notices a hickey on his neck.

Learning that Kyosuke has been hospitalized, Sachi rushes back to Tokyo to see him. Later, Kyosuke opens up to Misuzu about his feelings toward Sachi.

Shocked by Kyosuke's words, Sachi returns home. She pretends everything is fine, but Isezaki notices something is wrong and asks her what happened.

Now feeling affection for Sachi, Kyosuke visits Shino and tells her he wants to end their sexual relationship. Later, Shino's husband comes back home.

Worried about Sachi, Isezaki approaches her, but she insists everything is fine. Asahi convinces a frustrated Misuzu to go out for drinks with him.

In desperate need of money, Kyosuke throws himself into part-time work. Later, he and Sachi have an awkward encounter with Shino and Kaname.

After a depressed Kyosuke takes on more hours at his job, Misuzu tries to cheer him up over a meal. Shino learns about another side of Kaname.

Shino offers to pay the settlement money, but Kyosuke insists on taking responsibility. Later, she confronts Kaname about him spying on her.

Kyosuke continues paying the settlement. Eight years after graduating from college, he moves into a new apartment and encounters a young neighbor.
