Middle schooler Nishikata is often teased by Takagi, the girl who sits next to him in class. One day, he decides to try teasing her back.
Nishikata notices that Takagi isn’t riding her bike to school. When he asks her why, she jokingly tells him she wants to walk while holding his hand.
While Takagi and Nishikata work in the school library during the lunch break, Takagi suddenly makes a comment that takes Nishikata by surprise.
