Being a parent is expensive, so you may try and find ways to cut costs.
That's why mum Camille Wight decided to purchase her little girl some books from budget retailer Temu, saying that they were "cute" and interactive, and her daughter enjoyed looking at the pictures and the sensory elements of the book.
Taking to TikTok, she said she was reading them to her daughter when they were on a road trip to her parent's house, saying the words on each page which described animals, like "caterpillar" and "rabbit" - until she got to a page where the language choice was unforgivable.

She explained how her jaw dropped, as rather than "rooster or hen or chicken", the word they'd used was "c*ck".
She looked at the camera in a suspicious way and said she'd asked her partner to look at the book. "And I get that's like the technical name", Camille said, but she queried why that was the "choice they made for that page".
In the comments, an eagle-eyed viewer pointed out: "It's the fact that 'horse' is also next to it that kills me." Someone else said: "I feel like that was 100% intentional".
But it wasn't the only mishap throughout the book. "So then I'm like hmm I wonder if there are any other ones that are amiss", she said.
She opened the book of 'Jungle Tails' and was greeted by, not a Raccoon - but a Raccoo. "I like that one", she joked.
Confusingly, they'd also referred to a Sika Deer as a 'Cervus Nippon', which is technically correct, but perhaps a little advanced for a baby book. Camille said that it must've been "put in a translator".
She did say that the books were "so cute", however, and that she would let her daughter "play with them".
A Temu spokesperson said: "Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have removed the product in question from sale pending a review. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and customers can apply for full refunds for items that are not as described or are defective."
