One of Fortnite's highest-profile collaborations is finally here as a troupe of classic Disney Villains make their debut on the island.
It’s hard to deny that the Fortnitemares 2024 event has been incredibly impressive, even by Fortnite’s standards. The game has been dropping cosmetics at a seriously amplified rate so far this spooky month, delivering on some huge collabs. Fortnite has unleashed Billy the Puppet from Saw and Edward Scissorhands as well as new fan favourites Ultima Carver and Lexa Hexbringer, as well as pulling out some big map changes, free quest collectibles and the debut of the Boom Billy weapons.
There’s plenty to be excited for, and collabs have rarely been bigger than right now, especially as Epic Games continues to bet on its confusing Disney Fortnite metaverse. Their collab with the company doesn’t end there, though, as after the arrival of The Incredibles, Fortnite revealed that more Disney icons would be coming to the island. And now, we know when we can expect the villainous cosmetics will be coming to the game. Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite Disney Villains drop.
Fortnite Disney Villains release time
The Fortnite Disney Villains bundle will be available in the Item Shop at 1am BST on Saturday, October 19 which is 8pm EDT / 5pm PDT today, on Friday, October 18 as this is when the daily Item Shop refresh happens It was also revealed by Fortnite in a tweet that the characters will be coming to the game “today” US time, and judging by the update time of the item shop, this is the time that we can expect them to appear.
All Fortnite Disney Villains skins
The Fortnite Disney Villains collection will feature the following characters:
- Captain Hook from Peter Pan
- Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians
- Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty
The Fortnite Disney Villain teasers haven’t revealed any of the other cosmetics that the skins will come with, but in line with The Incredibles drop, we can probably expect some Back Blings, Emotes and Pickaxes to come with them too. After all, there are few players who wouldn't enjoy running around the island with Smee strapped to their back at least a little bit.
Fortnite Disney Villains prices
In line with Disney’s The Incredibles collab, we can probably expect each of the Fortnite Disney Villains skins to cost 1,500 V-Bucks each along with their included Back Bling. As there are three of the characters, and it’s easy to expect some bonus cosmetics to come with them, the combined cost of the Incredibles bundle of 3,500 V-Bucks makes sense for this collection of characters too.
It’s a lot to shell out for mere cosmetics, with the best option for buying currency to purchase them at this price being a bundle of 5,000 V-Bucks costing £27.99 / $36.99 / AU$47.95. Think long and hard about how much you actually love Peter Pan before pulling the trigger on the Fortnite Disney Villains, especially with the number of collabs that Fortnite is dropping this spooky season.
