Elvis Presley's granddaughter has revealed her main concern for the singer's famous Graceland home since she took it over.

Riley Keough also confirmed her mum, Lisa Marie Presley, who Elvis shared with Priscilla Presley, "didn't like being in the public eye." The late singer's daughter Riley Keough revealed her late mother didn't enjoy being in the spotlight that shone on her her entire life. During a guest appearance on the SiriusXM show Inside Graceland, the 34-year-old actress admitted she found it "crazy" that her mum didn't enjoy the attention that comes from being a part of a famous family.

During the interview, host Joel Weinshanker asked Riley about her family dynamic and the odd fact that her grandmother loved being in the limelight while her mother was exactly the opposite. She responded: "I think, you know, everybody's different. [My mother] wasn't somebody who liked attention. She didn't like being in the public eye -- which is a crazy situation that she was born into for somebody who doesn't like attention."

She continued: "But she loved coming to Graceland, she loved the fans, and she loved being with the original generation of Elvis fans. And my grandmother, obviously, for so many years, she dedicated her whole life to Elvis' legacy."

The Daisy Jones and the Six star said she has now inherited Elvis' Graceland estate following the tragic death of her mother Lisa Marie. Her famous mum died at the age of 54 in January, after suffering from cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California.

As Riley is now the owner of the property as well as the managing partner and majority owner of Elvis Presley Enterprises she admitted that she is unsure of where she stands compared to Lisa Marie and Priscilla. During the one-on-one chat Riley laughed and confessed: "I don't really know where I exist on that spectrum. I love being involved, because it's my family and I care about them, and we'll see how that works out in the future."

Although she might be unsure of what the future holds, Riley did take part in the annual NBC holiday special Christmas at Graceland. This year the highly anticipated event featured incredible performances from some of the best singers of 2023 including Alanis Morissette, John Legend, Lana Del Rey, Post Malone and Kacey Musgraves.
