Course Offerings 2024-2025
ARAB 1010: Elementary Arabic I
Introduction to basic grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation with emphasis on modern
standard Arabic (MSA). Develop foundational skills in speaking, listening, reading,
and writing through interactive exercises and dialogues.
ARAB 1020: Elementary Arabic II
Continuation of ARAB 1010, focusing on sentence structures and real-world communication.
The course enhances proficiency in all language skills, including speaking, listening,
reading, and writing, with an emphasis on both written and spoken communication. Cultural
components are integrated throughout to provide students with a deeper understanding
of the language in its social and cultural contexts.
