AppsFlyer has announced the launch of a new data science tool that can calculate 100,000 rows of data without the need for Microsoft Excel.
The marketing data analytics company has unveiled Pivot, a reporting interface now available in AppsFlyer’s analytics dashboard. The drag-and-drop feature empowers marketers to develop and customize their own data analysis without the need for degree in data science.
Pivot can provide marketing insights by analyzing up to 100,000 rows of aggregated data, unifying mobile attribution and marketing analytics data in the AppsFlyer dashboard. The analytics interface is incredibly user-friendly, and customers can easily edit any data element such as rows or filters.
Potential marketing data analyses could include media cost analysis, deep campaign analysis, or activity and retention insights.
"Since the early days of the PC, marketers have relied on basic tools like Microsoft Excel to analyze data, and today many remain dependent on these same tools," states Oren Kaniel, CEO and co-founder of AppsFlyer.
With Pivot, marketers will have "the ability to take data into their own hands," in order to have achieve better collaboration and insights without an over-dependence on tools, he adds.
Pivot is now available to all AppsFlyer customers as a premium feature.
AppsFlyer most recently announced an integration with the Adobe Marketing Cloud last week, and closed on a $57 million Series C funding round at the beginning of the year.
