easyJet announces new £23.99 route from Liverpool John Lennon Airport
It is a new service from Liverpool and a new destination on easyJet’s network
easyJet has launched a new route from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to City of Derry Airport. The new flights between Speke and the Northern Irish city took off for the first time yesterday and will continue to operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays all year-round.
The new route to the second largest city in Northern Ireland will be the fifth new service the airline has added to its Liverpool network in the last 12 months. It follows new flights being introduced to Malta, Enfidha in Tunisia, Hurghada in Egypt and the Greek island of Corfu.
City of Derry airport, which lies on the west bank of the River Foyle is home of Ireland's only completely intact historic Walled City, the Derry Girls, a vibrant food scene, award winning museums and plenty to discover where the Wild Atlantic Way meets the Causeway Coastal Route. easyJet now bases seven aircraft at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, flying around 2 million passengers a year, offering up to 340 flights each week.
