Dear Doctoral Careers Community, Our second gathering took place yesterday afternoon at Instituto Pernambuco. 🙌 It was a pleasure to meet and to count on you at the Get Together - PhD Winter Gathering. On December 6th, we held the 1st edition of the PhD Pitching Event: Unlocking Careers in 90 Seconds at the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidade do Porto. 🎤🙌 It was a successful first edition, with many challenges and connections made that brought our talents closer to the labour market. 🥳 14 PhD candidates embraced this program over 3 intense weeks of skills development leading to career opportunities. We would like to express our gratitude: ➡️ To the Pro-Rector Professor Olívia Pestana and Professor Rui Calçada, Director of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto, for believing in the impact of these initiatives. ➡️ To the jury for accepting this invitation with kindness and responsibility: Pedro R. Almeida, Joana Gonçalves Fernandes, Paula M. Lopez Perez, Carla Castro and Miguel Moreira da Silva. ➡️ To the employers for co-building a professional future of our talents. ➡️ To the trainer Ana I.
