About us
The NSCA Foundation's Mission is to support the mission of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) by providing funding for educational and research endeavors that enhance the practical applications of strength and conditioning. Since it's founding in 2007, the NSCA Foundation has been working to advance the strength and conditioning industry by providing funding for educational and research endeavors. The NSCA Foundation has awarded over 200 grants and 600 scholarships—totaling over $3 million—to outstanding individuals within the strength and conditioning community. A leader of its kind, the NSCA Foundation is one of the few foundations that funds education and research in strength and conditioning, while supporting those at the upper Master’s and senior investigator levels. Since its inception, the foundation has grown steadily; last year, it awarded more than $300,000 to qualified recipients. These efforts have been made possible through financial support from dedicated NSCA members and supporters, and the impact is far-reaching. Chances are, you have personally benefitted from the NSCA Foundation without even knowing it. How? By supporting education and research into the practical application of strength and conditioning, the foundation’s work has facilitated the development of today’s highly skilled community of faculty, students, coaches and fitness professionals. The NSCA Foundation would not exist if not for the generous contributions of the NSCA community. While the foundation is determined to assist as many applicants as possible, every year the list of exceptional applicants grows longer. The foundation would like to increase the number of awards to match the growth of the profession. You are the key to a stronger future!
