Artificial intelligence is on trial ⁉️ And the decision is yours. On November 22 from 6.30 to 8.30 pm, we will host a fictitious court case in which the guilt of AI will be debated. Does it violate fundamental democratic rights? Is it spreading hate speech? Or is AI a tool for a democracy that is currently under increasing threat (from human actors)? Participating are: ✔️ Prosecution and defense: debattierclub.zurich and MUN University of Zurich ✔️ Witnesses and experts: Balthasar Glättli, member of the national council for "die GRÜNE" and Daniel Gordon Jones, an expert in machine learning ✔️ President of the court: Cyrill Chevalley, an expert in law and AI ⚠️ In the end, YOU decide whether the AI is guilty or not. Take the decision about your source of information back into your hands. ➡️ Register here: https://lnkd.in/dRBy2bhM

Inspiring conversations and colleagues to explore #AI #literacy for #diplomacy! We will follow up with new content and exciting projects to develop this emerging field. Stay tuned!
🌍 This week, at the Geneva Graduate Institute, we delved deep into #artificialintelligence and its impact on global #diplomacy! 📚 AI Literacies for Diplomats Workshop, organised by Jérôme Duberry and the Tech Hub | Geneva Graduate Institute ➡️ With AI increasingly shaping our world, these 2 days explored how to develop a decolonized, inclusive and open-access AI. The workshop was insightful for all stakeholders involved in the discussions, from the role of diverse voices in AI governance to understanding how AI can help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). with Lyse Langlois 💡 Keynote - The AI Mirror with Prof. Shannon Vallor, followed by a panel discussion with Mia Perry, Professor of Arts and Literacies in Education based at the School of Education at the University of Glasgow and Claude Bruderlein. ➡️ Prof. Vallor captivated us with her powerful keynote on AI as a "mirror” of humanity. She challenged us to see AI as more than just a tool but a reflection of our values and choices. ✔️ These events highlighted Geneva's role in shaping an inclusive, forward-thinking AI landscape. 🚀 We're proud to foster conversations that bring diplomats, scholars, and experts together to drive positive global change! #FutureOfAI #GlobalDiplomacy #AIForGood #Innovation #AIandEthics
