On November 19 our Carpentry construction unit participated in MiCareerQuest Southeast 2024. We greeted over 8,000 middle & high school students from 114 schools across Southeast Michigan and demonstrated our boardwalk construction while talking about our careers. It was a great day!

At its most recent meeting, the Board of Commissioners recognized July as Park and Recreation Month in #OaklandCounty to celebrate the importance of Oakland County Parks and Recreation in building strong communities.    The county’s Parks and Recreation departments has provided educational programs, green spaces and fitness activities for residents since 1966. The 15-park system covers over 7,000 acres and offers diverse recreation options, welcoming nearly two million visitors in 2023. These parks contribute to the economic health and resiliency of Oakland County.  

Great events need great helpers to make 'em happen. That's where YOU come in!
