The Colorado Attorney General’s Office has modified the Colorado Privacy Act Rules to create a process for issuing opinion letters and interpretive guidance, and to address biometric and children’s privacy amendments from the 2024 legislative session. In a recent decision, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruled that tracking users’ website activity with tools like Meta Pixel and Google Analytics does not violate the state’s Wiretap Act.
