About us
ADventure - a new, nationwide talent initiative designed to open up the industry to all Schools outreach programme from Brixton Finishing School & its industry supporters. ADventure's ambition is to reach 100,000 young, diverse talents and encourage them to start their own ADventures into the advertising, marketing and communications industries. Again and again participants in our 18-25 programmes say 'I wish I'd heard of this industry at school’. So we will deliver to 14-18 year olds an introduction to the industry through our network of leading employers and organisations including Common People and Founders4Schools. The programme will be rolled out across state schools nationwide from November (and running through 2022) to diversify the talent pipeline at a crucial stage when young people consider their career choices. The aim is to visit schools to deliver an assembly highlighting the various roles within the industry, from account managers, production coordinators to digital media executives and programmatic executives, many of which do not need a degree to succeed in. After the visit students will be given the opportunity to join our community of ADventurers to continue their exploration of potential roles in our industry until they are 18 and eligible for one of our programmes/apprenticeships. When the ADventurers reach 18 they qualify for our free ADcademy programme which leads directly to roles at big name brands and employers.
