Why ONLY Is Better than Best.

Why ONLY Is Better than Best.

One year ago I met Srinivas Rao, host of The Unmistakable Creative podcast, in Los Angeles when I had him as a guest on my podcast while roadtripping.

In that meeting, Srini shook something inside of me when he dove into the concept of being unique, of being...Unmistakable.

It's easy to look at what someone else did and try to copycat them step for step. Everyone these days is trying to sell you a blueprint. But the problem with that approach is it takes away your originality. You become a 'me too'.

Unmistakable, on the other hand, is your X-factor. It's work that needs no signature. Think of a Banksy piece of art, a Tarantino flick, or pretty much anything The Rock does. It's Unmistakable.

When you're Unmistakable, rather than shoot for 1 in 100, you become 1 of 1. You don't aim to be the best, you aim to be the ONLY.

When Srini talked to me last year about this concept, it shook me because I saw was doing a lot of things to head down the copycat path. And from that point forward, I decided to chart ahead and strive for Unmistakability.

It's now my pleasure to share with you Srini's brand new book, available in bookstores and Amazon RIGHT NOW,

Unmistakable: Why Only Is Better Than Best

Unmistakable documents Srini's journey from the point of getting his MBA seven years ago only to get caught in a series of soulless corporate jobs. He was stuck. That's when he abandoned the corporate world, started surfing, and created The Unmistakable Creative Podcast.

Over 500 interviews later, including the likes of Tim Ferriss, Seth Godin, Elle Luna, and Simon Sinek, Unmistakable is Srini's manifesto to help you strip away conventional expectations and create your most meaningful, joyful, and unique work.

Srini sent me an advance paperback copy for review months ago, and then a week ago sent me a signed hardcover copy, and I STILL purchased an additional copy on Amazon so that I can gift it to someone.

This will easily be my new go-to book that I gift people because it's that damn good. It's one of those reads you'll come back to over and over again.

If you're struggling in your career right now...Unmistakable is for you.

If you have entrepreneurial or artistic aspirations...Unmistakable is for you.

If you're almost at the finish line of your endeavor but need a second wind...Unmistakable is for you.

If you want to achieve success without 'selling out' or being inauthentic...Unmistakable is for you.

I've been at all of those points over the last few years, and Unmistakable is for me.

If there is one book you read this month, make it Unmistakable.
