What does Focis Do?

If I had a pound for every person who asked what it is Focis does I'd have at least £1.50 by now (one person as it turned out was only asking the time).

Integration

So here it is: Integrate once , integrate everything.

We aim to provide a standard data model and integration method , hook in your backend systems then you have a 2 way integration point for your clients and services. 

We provide a single integration point hosted with our Infrastructure Partners CTS (formerly Converge).

We chose a Hybrid cloud environment rather than Azure to ensure we had the very best expert advice from an experienced provider. Azure is fantastic but to build a robust, secure service on Azure takes its own investment in resource

Portal

You may want to integrate with your portal provider.

We just completed an integration with (and recommend) HighQ.

Or you can integrate with our own portal to share data and documents with your clients.You may want your corporate clients to send you data and pull that into your Client / Matter Inception process or they may be demanding you provide a point for them to send instructions to.

Data Capture

You may want to capture data from your private clients and case parties and integrate responses into backend systems. We provide customisable forms for them to do so.

Reporting And Analytics

You may want to publish reports easier to your clients or even internal audience. We provide Microsoft Reporting Services integration and platform as standard.

We have also just implemented a SQL Server 2017 Machine Learning platform for a client.

Data Model

We recognise the potential value in the data model behind all this integration.

We are trying to work with others to recognise the benefits it can bring and start to standardise.  

Having a data model also allows you much greater freedom and flexibility in swapping and changing suppliers. 

Process Automation and Review

We can't move to the next generation of process automation until all parties are working form the same data platform. 

Process data can be the most difficult to convert and migrate from. Having it standardised into a recognised format allows you to try and pick other providers for particular worktypes or even particular processes.

Process As A Service is just around the corner. Being able to pull down a hosted process for a particular job or tasks and there's never the need to exchange personally identifiable data. Just the process.

Fair Transparent Pricing

The key to our service is flexibility with a platform and data model and pricing model that provides it. Your clever development team can do all of the above themselves. We just try to lighten the load by doing it for you.
