We’re very proud that EcoVadis, a leading provider of business sustainability ratings, has awarded Marco Beverage Systems a “Committed” Badge. This achievement aligns with our B Corp Certification, showing our commitment to positively impacting our customers, environment, and community.

The rating recognises our ongoing dedication to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact, which falls under our core values of care and integrity. The badge also aligns with our mission to envision a sustainable future while creating exceptional beverage experiences globally.

What is EcoVadis?

EcoVadis is a global sustainability ratings provider that evaluates companies’ role in sustainability based on their performance in four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

Ultimately, EcoVadis’ comprehensive assessments help businesses identify areas for improvement, benchmarking their efforts against industry standards, and ensuring reliable ratings. 

Over 700 multinational companies, including Mars, Nestlé, and Aramark, utilise EcoVadis to monitor their sustainability performance.

What does the EcoVadis Assessment Include?

EcoVadis ratings consider each company’s industry, size, and geographic location, ensuring a tailored and accurate evaluation. 

The methodology is rooted in internationally recognised sustainability standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000. EcoVadis assessment evaluates companies across four main themes:

Environment: Measures a company’s efforts to reduce its environmental impact and promote sustainable practices.

Labour & Human Rights: Assesses how well a company respects and promotes human rights and fair labour practices.

Ethics: Considers a company’s commitment to ethical business practices and anti-corruption measures.

Sustainable Procurement: Looks at how a company manages its supply chain to ensure sustainability and ethical practices.
