Vietnam’s Paella Producers
A rice-shrimp farm in the Mekong Delta

Vietnam’s Paella Producers

The concept of combining agri- and aqua-culture is by no means new, but the rise of rice-fish farming in the Mekong makes for a compelling story nonetheless. Although it might not be suitable for all the delta’s farmers – and could can have some long-term drawbacks if poorly practiced – it could help food and financial security in a vulnerable part of the world. — Rob Fletcher Senior editor
