The Ultimate 30-Day B2B Marketing Strategy for Founders: A Step-by-Step Guide (Part 2)

Last Sunday, I released an article that promised to be The Ultimate 30-Day B2B Marketing Strategy for Founders. In Part 1, I covered a sweet intro to the guide, and Key Pointers like- Establishing Your Objectives and Goals, Identifying Your Target Audience, and Crafting a Compelling Message. In case you missed that, here's the link to the first part.

If not, here's the second release of the guide.

Developing an Engagement Plan

The first step in any successful BB marketing strategy is developing an engagement plan. This plan should outline how you will interact with your target audience on a day-to-day basis. It should also include a schedule of when you will publish new content, run promotions, and engage in other marketing activities.

When developing your engagement plan, it's important to keep the following things in mind-

+ Your goal is to create a relationship with your target audience. This relationship should be built on trust and mutual respect.

+ You need to be consistent with your engagement. If you only interact with your target audience sporadically, they're likely to forget about you.

+ Your engagement should be genuine and authentic. Don't try to fake it - your target audience will see right through it.

Creating a Content Plan

Assuming you have a basic understanding of what content marketing is and why it’s important for your business, it’s time to start creating a content plan. This doesn’t need to be overly complicated – in fact, the simpler the better.

Start by identifying your target audience.

Whom are you trying to reach with your content? What are their needs and pain points? Once you have a good understanding of who you’re talking to, you can start thinking about what kinds of content will resonate with them.

Next, make a list of the topics you want to cover. Once again, think about what would be most helpful or interesting to your target audience. Once you have a solid list of topics, you can start brainstorming individual pieces of content.

Put together a posting schedule.

Decide how often you want to publish new content, and then map out when each piece will go live. If you want to get really organized, you can even create an editorial calendar with all of your content mapped out in advance.

Leveraging Social Media for Promotion

As a business owner or founder, you know that promotion is key to driving awareness and interest in your product or service. But with so many options and channels available, it can be difficult to know where to start.

One of the most effective ways to promote your business is through social media. By leveraging the power of platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, you can reach a large audience of potential customers quickly and easily.

Here are some tips for promoting your business on social media:

1. Use attractive visuals. People are more likely to engage with content that includes compelling images or videos. Make sure your visuals are high-quality and eye-catching.

2. Use engaging headlines. Just as with any other type of content, your social media posts should have headlines that grab attention and make people want to click through to read more.

3. Share valuable information. Don’t just promote your products or services – offer something of value to your audience as well. This could be helpful tips, interesting facts, or even exclusive discounts.

4. Be active and responsive. In order to build a following on social media, you need to be active and engaged with your audience. Like and comment on other people’s posts, answer questions promptly, and share relevant content from other sources.
