How to enter:

A structure that can help you form your award nomination is the STAR method. It is a great tool for effectively communicating your experiences in a clear and structured way. By breaking your response into Situation, Task, Action, and Result, it ensures your answer is organised, highlights problem-solving skills, and focuses on the impact of your actions. This approach not only makes your story compelling and professional but also boosts confidence and adaptability, helping you showcase your value in any situation. By following a method like this, you are likely to cover everything out judges want to read in your nomination.

  • Situation: Describe the challenge or opportunity that sparked your initiative.

  • Task: Define the objectives or goals you aimed to achieve

  • Action: Detail the steps you took, including partnerships, communication strategies, and how obstacles were overcome

  • Result: Highlight the outcomes, including who benefitted, cost savings, improved efficiency, or enhanced safety. Use evidence like data, quotes, or testimonials to back your claims
