Start Video Editing with These Simple Skills
If you think learning to edit video is daunting now, think again.
When I went to journalism school we were still recording everything on tape, and editing video required a suite full of complex, expensive equipment.
Today, we can do it all on a laptop, or even a smartphone. And if you choose the right editing software (no need for all the bells and whistles they use in Hollywood), video editing can be an intuitive and enjoyable creative process.
Yes, you have to learn a new skill, and that takes time.
But if you want to take advantage of the opportunities video content can provide, you're going to have to add editing skills to your toolbox, and you're going to have to practice.
With 93% of brands earning a new customer because of a video on social media (Animoto), consider it a wise investment.

3yOOOOOO this is true during the editing/trimming side. Thank you for delivering more skills for us NON IT people. I am in the stage of editing/trimming 4 broad/podcasts and that is work. Also, learning how to keep incredible people in a time frame that will work on several media venues. Very challenging and FUN in getting to know our network. Tagging DitranQuil Muzik as a new contact,
