How to Get More Profits

In business, it’s not about what you make, it’s about what you keep. If you want to grow your profits, it’s about how to generate and communicate with new and existing leads. How often do you update your lead magnets? Do you have good follow-up systems? Are you investing in ads. You need to have these things in place to make more money.

1. Create a new lead magnet

Today's customers want information. They want to educate themselves before they talk to a salesperson about a product or service. Providing them with that information can make your business more profitable because it helps you win the customers' attention, secure their contact information, and basically you’ll have the first chance to earn their business. You can share valuable content in the form of a mini-course, video series or an ebook. If you build a great landing page, then you share that on social media or in ads or pop-up on your website and you will draw in readers in with your valuable content.

2. Tighten your follow-up with email marketing

You need ongoing communications with all prospects who could become customers. Don’t fall into the trap of chasing only the hot leads. Prospects will come to you at different steps in the customer journey. Some might be just starting their research, while other might be closer to a buying decision. You’ll need to stay top of mind with those who have more pressing demands, and not all sales are urgent. Develop a nurture sequence of emails to introduce yourself and your brand, always educate and add value to your prospects keeping them warm until they are ready to buy. A study done by the Association of Sales Executives revealed that 81% of all sales happens on or after the fifth contact. If you ignore leads, they will likely go to a competitor.

3. Invest in mobile ads

We live in a mobile first world. More than 50% of online shopping traffic comes from mobile devices. 68% of email campaigns now get opened on a mobile device. With mobile web marketing, you’re always reaching people when they’re only a few taps from making a purchase. Types of mobile marketing: personalization, location-based marketing, responsive site design, mobile friendly content (shorter sentences, shorter videos, etc.), onsite and in-app support (such as live chat), QR Codes and social media ads.
