SHOOTING PD

START DATE: AUGUST 16TH

CONTRACT LENGTH: 7 WEEKS INITIALLY (+ EDIT)

WDT are looking for an experienced Shooting PD with a docs and fact ent background, that is used to working with contributors for a new two-part BBC2 series looking at what it is like to be black in Britain today. 

You will need to be strong visually, have great shooting skills, as well as experience of directing and working with contributors in a variety of setups, from ob doc, to multi-camera, and also master interviews.  The ability to follow the editorial as it unfolds is key.  

We are looking for someone quite senior, who can help this series reach its best potential. The shoot location is the Midlands, and the company offices are in Cardiff and London. 

If you are an experienced PD with a docs and fact ent background and you are AVAILABLE NOW, we would love to hear from you. This contract starts immediately for 7 weeks and this covers the prep and shoot, but there is the opportunity to stay on for the edit if that suits you, which would mean the contract would run for 16 weeks through till the end of November.
