Shadow of the Demon Is On Sale!

I’m pleased to announce finally that my first novel, Shadow of the Demon, is available! It’s been hard to keep a lid on this thing. Even without putting links out there, folks have been buying, which is really exciting for me!

This novel was born out of a lifelong desire to actually write one. Today is my birthday, and it’s no accident that I chose to launch today because this was on my bucket list. On a few occasions, I have attempted to start writing but never got beyond 20 or so chapters. About a year ago, though, I sat down and started writing and found myself wanting to spend time doing this. It was incredibly cathartic and therapeutic to do at night.

When I finished it, I really didn’t know what to do with the manuscript. It was written, and naturally, I wanted people to read it, but at the same time, I really didn’t have a reason to publish it. I’m grateful to be gainfully employed, and I love what I do. (I would love to be an author fulltime too, but it’s tough to make a living doing that!). But then Covid-19 kicked into high gear. At that time, I thought that maybe – just maybe – I could use this book for good. So, at that time, I decided that the proceeds from the sale of the book would help others. To that end, I plan to send any profit from the book to help folks on the Gulf Coast recover from hurricanes, particularly Hurricane Laura.

So, if you want to help others and want something to read, buy my book. It’s in an eBook form and print form. I’ll be honest, the print form is a bit expensive, for a book anyways. It is covering the costs of printing and other costs associated with selling on Amazon. I profit more from the eBook form because there’s virtually no overhead in eBooks.
