Revolutionizing Your Jira Experience: With the Command Palette!

Exciting News for Jira Users!

Hey LinkedIn fam! 👋 I wanted to share some thrilling updates from the world of Jira that I'm particularly stoked about! 🚀

This Feature was launched on Sep 28,2023 and I got to know about this today. Wanted to share the same with you!!

Problem Statement:

One constant challenge we've heard from our amazing Jira users is the need for a quicker and more intuitive way to navigate through the multitude of features.

In order to search any item / issue/ user story we will be moving to search box on the top right corner to make the selection or make a search.

And this search bar can be accessed with “/” and it allows you to search only the relevant tickets/bugs or user story from different project not extending more functionality to change on the Go!!

How is this Problem Tackled?

Command Pallet:

The command palette lets you seamlessly work in Jira with just your keyboard. Use the command palette to

  • Find work

  • Perform actions on issues

  • Navigate to key places in Jira.

Access the command Pallet with the keyboard shortcut “Ctrl+k” for windows and “command + k” for Mac

Impact:

Exciting part of this tool is that it transforms how we interact with Jira, making it more helpful while performing action on issues which I do most of the time.

Check out the details here and let me know what you think!
