Personal Robots - Conquering the World?

Join PDMA Pittsburgh at the 4moms corporate headquarters on Thursday, October 22nd, for an engaging Innovation Forum event featuring Dr. Kevin Dowling, VP of Engineering at 4moms. 4moms is a robotics company that, as CEO Rob Daley puts it, “just happens to be focused on babies.”

According to the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) by 2018 global sales of privately used service robots will increase to around 35 million units with a growth rate in double figures. Service robots include both domestics (25M units) and entertainment (10M units). Clearly personal robots are a booming, global industry.

It is also a fertile space for entrepreneurship. CNBC's "Make Me a Millionaire Inventor" just featured Growver, an autonomous robot that carries water from a refill station to efficiently water a lawn

Pittsburgh has many local companies active in the robotics space so we expect a good turnout and a lively discussion! Register here: http://www.pdma.org/p/cm/ld/fid=1896
