So Dermott has a clear position. I don't think he has ever hidden it.

He's running a break even trading position as a no-cost "call option" on one day the English market opening up for Celtic.

3 lines sums it up as a business strategy.

In all the constant media and hot air up there, how many times do you think the average Celtic fan absorbs and digests this reality? So much angst. Referees. Rangers newco. About nothing of importance.

What I see though is no real attempt politically, with serious lobbying, for Dermott to make this happen. I've never seen a revolution happen by osmosis. You always need to get out there and protest.

So one can argue that Dermott in this way becomes the worst owner possible for Celtic. Not interested in invest-to-progress, but no effort to make the paradigm shift happen.
