The path of the spiritual awakening
A spiritual awakening is a unique experience, and the ways in which it manifests can vary greatly from person to person. It’s important to note that those embarking on a spiritual journey may not experience all of these signs, but many people report similar feelings of joy, bliss, unusual energy sensations and feeling excluded or out of place.
Joy is often experienced as part of a spiritual awakening. This might be felt as a deep-seated happiness or contentment that comes from connecting with one’s true self, beyond the limitations and illusions created by our culture. Those experiencing this type of joy may feel an inner peace that transcends their everyday life and allows them to embrace life with more clarity and understanding.
Bliss is another common sign of a spiritual awakening. This state can be described as experiencing complete connection with the universe—a kind of divine love that reveals itself through an intense feeling of joy or serenity. The bliss experienced during a spiritual awakening can go beyond any feeling normally attained through material pleasures such as wealth, fame, or power.
Unusual energy sensations are also often linked with spiritual awakenings. This might manifest itself in the form of tingling throughout the body, particularly around your hands and feet; warmth surrounding your body; vibrations; or simply an overall sense of being more alive than before you embarked on your journey into spirituality.
Another possible sign is no longer fitting in—feeling like you don’t belong anymore in situations where you used to feel comfortable before your spiritual awakening began. Feeling excluded or out-of-place could have various causes, including realizing that certain people or places no longer align with your values or interests due to changes within yourself during this period of growth. It may even appear paradoxical at first: something which brings so much joy and bliss can also bring loneliness. Especially if you’re not surrounded by people who understand what you are going through and accept it wholeheartedly.
Feeling OK with not being part of the crowd is something many people going through as part of their growth process. As we venture into reexamining our beliefs about life and ourselves, we might find ourselves having fewer things in common with those around us—and this periodic isolation helps us stay focused on our own path forward instead of getting distracted by what everyone else is doing.
While it can be difficult to let go of old friends while making space for new ones who better fit our changing views, ultimately it can help us move closer toward our authentic selves without fear or judgement from those who are unfamiliar with the journey we are taking.
As part of the process of spiritual awakening, people naturally move away from what society expects them to do or believe and start doing things differently – creating unique paths for themselves rather than following any sort of conventional route.
This is the path forward the world needs to take.
It's important for those on the journey towards enlightenment to remember that everyone’s journey is unique - what works for one person may not work for another - so there should never be any pressure put upon oneself when exploring the spiritual realm.
God bless you all on your journeys
