Patents Copilot - Faster Drug Discovery in Pharmaceutical Industry with Generative AI and the Elasticsearch Platform

To enable faster drug discovery for our users in the Pharma industry (actually any industry with R&D), Elastic's Ecosystem Solutions Architecture team (special thanks goes to my team buddy Valerio Arvizzigno!) is working with our Cloud partners on a reference architecture, narrative, and demo based on the Elasticsearch Relevance Engine (#ESRE) and GenAI. The first results are impressive. #ESRE's Vector Search capabilities, BM25 as the backbone of Information Retrieval and the ability to run custom models and connect with LLMs are solving some critical challenges in dealing with GenAI (e.g. private data).
