Pandawa Agri Indonesia Is Now B Corp Certified: #ReduceMore Worries Building Regenerative Agriculture Ecosystem
Welcome to our latest 2024 #ReduceMore newsletter edition. We are pleased to announce that Pandawa Agri Indonesia has achieved B Corp certification, making us the 28th Indonesian company to join a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact.
The global nonprofit network B Lab awards B Corp certification to companies that meet exceptional standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. We’ve gone through a rigorous certification process that evaluates our impacts on governance, sustainability practices, and community engagement to earn B Corp certification.
Since 2014, we have been focused on innovative products that help growers increase agricultural productivity without compromising environmental health. As a result, we discovered Reductant Technology, our patented product designed to assist growers in reducing their use of synthetic pesticides, saving costs, and ensuring no phytotoxicity is left on plants without compromising pesticide effectiveness. One of our Reductant Technologies, WEED Solut-ioN®, is reducing synthetic herbicide use and has secured an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certificate, which means everyone can see the details of WEED Solut-ioN®’s environmental footprint.
We also have PPAI TechnologyTM, a specialized agricultural input made for specific commodities and regions. Our PPAI TechnologyTM stands for Plant Productivity Assistance and Innovation Technology, aiming to boost smallholder productivity with less dependence on chemicals committed to Good Agricultural Practices (GAP). Our field team closely assists in the application of PPAI TechnologyTM, ensuring smallholders use it correctly. We have been assisting smallholders in using PPAI TechnologyTM in 2 areas: coffee smallholders in Pagar Alam, South Sumatra and paddy smallholders in Mbay, East Nusa Tenggara.
We have consistently committed to embracing regenerative agriculture and fostering sustainable ecosystems through our products and services over the course of our 10-year journey. Achieving B Corp certification has marked a significant milestone for us. Being part of B Corp indicates that we go beyond merely generating profits; we also commit to being a responsible company that prioritizes the well-being of all—workers, customers, communities, and the environment.
Future steps will be taken to ensure our commitment is on track, and we would love to share our vision with stakeholders and everyone who shares the same goals. Let’s together share value for a more sustainable and healthier world!
See you again in 2025!
