PAD Recovery and Getting Back to Daily Activities
Each person’s recovery from Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) will be unique to their treatment. Early detection and treatment of PAD are critical to preventing complications, preserving limb function, and improving the quality of life. Keeping up with your treatment plan and lifestyle changes is just as important to ensure you can stay healthy and active long term.
That’s why health providers from the PAD Pulse Alliance developed the Patient Pathway Toolkit to help you “kick off the conversation” about PAD and know your risks. Step 4 of the toolkit includes important questions to ask your care team about what to expect post-treatment.
Please visit www.padpulse.org for more information. September is PAD Awareness month, and we ask that you share this post with anyone who you think may be at risk of PAD.
