Rapid adoption of technology, availability of cheap labour and super competitive firms together unleashed boom in many services in private sector. India is setting example for many other continents especially Europe where countries like France is facing several crisis. India has witnessed great policy reforms after several years of independence, with schemes like Digital India the government is showing their willingness of supporting the internet based companies of private sector. Several government institutions are either involved in the digitalization or planning to launch their digital platform.
It might be possible that due to our hectic schedule we forget to notice each and every small changes happening around us. Although these changes strengthen our economy in several ways. Some of the changes I have noticed from the daily life are mentioned below.
- Being in the year of election, let's start it from the Election Commision. You can get the several information including searching your name in electoral list, detail about your constituency by sending a single SMS from your phone within 5 minutes.
- Being a millennial child I have seen the corruption involved around the Passport and VISA, the way people suffered was pathetic but now with the advancement of the process and automation, we can easily get it within 15 days - 30 days.
- When countries like France facing constant strikes in the metro services, we here in India enjoying endless hassle free experience of metros.
- Hiring cabs, renting homes or booking seats in some restaurants for special occasions is now an easy job and that too on pocket friendly prices with a great standard.
- Home delivery stuff is next big move we are witnessing. Now you can buy at 10 PM in right and get your product in the next morning and in case you not liked it Tap, Tap, Tap in next couple of hours it will be picked up from your doorstep.
- Payment is the huge success story of India. With the noticeable reform in fintech policies India is not so far from cashless economy.
These are few things which have been built in last one decade and now setting examples for the other countries. Now India is ready to stand at the top ahead of most developed nation in these service sector. I hope with the continuous policy reforms and government support, we witness the world class standard of services in coming days.
