Vodafones STEP road safety platform tested in Berlin🚗📱
What if we could make Europe’s roads safer for everyone? Now we’re one STEP closer.
Recently we tested the Safer Transport for Europe Platform (STEP)🚦
STEP is our cooperative mobility solution that helps road users and road operators to make transport safer, more secure and accessible, through data distribution across different types of traffic. The STEP platform was tested on the open road in Berlin, using Vodafone Germany’s 5G network.
By connecting road users directly with each other and transport authorities, safety can be boosted for everyone. STEP has been designed to be compatible with all third-party apps and in-vehicle navigation systems, so road users using any device can benefit.
Following the success of the Berlin tests, Vodafone will continue to explore how STEP can be used to boost the road safety systems of the future.

Vodafone and AMD working together to develop Next Generation Mobile Base Stations 🤝📡
Meanwhile, at the Vodafone Innovation Centre in Málaga, engineers are testing cutting-edge silicon chip designs to support new 5G services and AI algorithms.
The main benefit of these integrated adaptive chip devices is that they can house a radio receiver and are flexible enough to accommodate multiple frequencies.
This collaborative initiative with AMD aims to reduce energy consumption and maintain excellent coverage.
By embedding advanced algorithms and technologies within its network, we can meet future demand and scale up new 5G features such as network slicing.

Making pharma supply chains more sustainable with IoT 💊
Safeguarding the delivery of temperature-sensitive medicines remains a persistent challenge for the global pharmaceutical supply chain.
Connected technology can now provide a way to track vast quantities of medicines and vaccines to reduce their risk of damage. An example of this in action comes from Vodafone Business IoT and Controlant.
Vodafone Business IoT’s SIMs provide Controlant's Saga devices with reliable and secure connectivity in over 180 countries for the whole transit process of perishable medicines, alerting companies if the products are no longer within the set temperature range. As a result, Controlant's supply chain customers have reported a sharp increase in successful delivery rates, from 65% to 99%.

Vodafone connects Crete to the India-Europe-Xpress (IEX) cable system 🌊
Vodafone Greece is making waves by connecting Crete to the India-Europe-Xpress (IEX) submarine cable system.
Subsea cables lie thousands of meters below the ocean’s surface transferring 95% of the world’s international data traffic.
This IEX cable offers Tympaki in southern Crete increased capacity and resilience to the island’s infrastructure. This will expand Crete’s connectivity with various global locations and also attract investments to the region.
The 10,000km long IEX cable system connects Mumbai to Europe, and extends east to Singapore through the India-Asia-Xpress (IAX).

1dI have been waiting since 8:00 AM until now, and there are no solutions. No one wants to respond to me. You treat people’s time as if it has no value, and it seems like everything is just a game to you. My line has not been working properly when switching from a physical SIM to an eSIM, and then back again from an eSIM to a physical SIM. This process has been a complete waste of time and money, with no solution provided. Vodafone RED Egypt Vodafone Egypt Vodafone Plus Vodafone Egypt فودافون مصر Vodafone
