New Breakfast Club for Fundraising Leaders – save 25% with Early Bird

I wanted to let you know about the exciting sessions we’ve lined up for the special new 2020 Breakfast Club for Directors and Heads of Fundraising we’ve just announced.

This Breakfast Club is designed to give your 2020 the best possible momentum and will take place on 5th February 2020, at the Stanley Building, 7 Pancras Square London N1C 4AG, from 8.30am – 11am.

Are you free and interested in attending? Register here

If you haven’t been before, Bright Spot’s Breakfast Club helps you build your network with other senior peers and get re-inspired by hearing powerful ideas to help you lead effectively and raise more money.

Please note – space is limited. We’ve been running these sessions for more than four years and they always sell out.

And this one will too, so if you lead your fundraising function, register here so that you don’t miss out.

You can save 25% by securing your place today at the Early Bird Price, available for a limited time.

Here’s what’s taking place at this Breakfast Club

1. FUNDRAISING STRATEGY – how the magic roundabout and a 4 way junction can help you think more clearly. With Richard Sved, Founding Director of 3rd Sector Mission

With over 20 years’ experience in the charity sector, including leading the fundraising function of eight national charities, and working with countless others, Richard has studied and tested numerous tools to help with fundraising strategy development. In this session, he’ll share three models that have helped him think differently about how he looks at strategic development.

2. Putting supporters at the heart of everything. With Sarah Tavener and Louise Wells, Mines Advisory Group (MAG)

A key element of MAG’s fundraising strategy has been efforts to make the experience of supporting the charity as great as possible. In this dynamic session Sarah and Louise explain some of the ways they’ve gone about this, including:

  • How this approach contributed to the extraordinary success of their Radio 4 Appeal (it raised more than any other in Radio 4 Appeal history.)
  • Fresh results and lessons learned from their charity-wide (including trustees) THANKATHON, happening in January 2020

3. Defy the failed Resolutions! How to set goals that inspire action. With Rob Woods, Bright Spot.

Just as most New Year’s Resolutions fail to inspire any lasting change, so the way most fundraisers and leaders set goals doesn’t really work either.

Inspired by the success strategy Rob learned when he interviewed the Paralympic gold medallist, Karen Darke MBE, Rob now understands why the goal setting technique a charity employer once taught him, and that your charity probably still uses, DOES NOT WORK.

Using examples, he will show you what to do instead that is FAR MORE POWERFUL. Join us to find out how to raise your game in 2020.

Breakfast Club is a fantastic chance to build your network with other fundraising leaders.

Come and meet friends and senior allies in the sector.

Best wishes,

Rob

P.S. If you’re not the Director or Head of Fundraising but you think this will be useful for a colleague who is, please forward it to them so they can save 25% at the Early Bird Price. They can register here.
