A music festival scene like a fight between gods! Look how big these electronic music stages are
Glastonbury Festival 2024
200,000 people flocked to the green fields just to attend this magical music carnival - Glastonbury Festival. The Glastonbury Festival, which originated in 1970, is regarded as the "Super Bowl" of music festivals and is also the largest open-air music festival in the world.
The world-famous event takes place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from 26 June – 30 June, with international stars such as Dua Lipa, Coldplay, Shania Twain, SZA and more adding to the festive cheer.
In addition to a strong lineup, a unique and spectacular stage is also essential. The world-famous fire-breathing spider stage was once synonymous with Glastonbury Festival, but this year, they have a new twist.
Dragonfly
For many years the most popular area of the Glastonbury Festival has been dominated by Arcadia. It's a sculptural arts and dance group famous for its 50-ton mechanical fire-breathing spider. This year they begin a new chapter at Glastonbury with their boldest installation yet.
It is extremely difficult to let go of an outstanding work that is beloved and even iconic. Not everyone has the courage and ability to step out of their comfort zone. Arcadia co-founder Pip Rush said: "One of the problems we have with Spider is that every year we release it, people seem to like it more and more. They say: 'Whatever you do, don't change Spider', but We felt we needed a creative evolution. We were founded by a group of people coming together and being creative - we needed some people like that: a push to do something new." Arcadia did, and. Successfully create even better great works.
Transforming recycled military and industrial hardware into dynamic sculptures and thrilling arenas, groundbreaking spectacle, cutting-edge technology, sculpture, engineering, architecture, excitement and bass blend into a vivid sensory experience. This is Arcadia’s usual style, and this year is no exception. Dragonfly, a giant mechanical creature made from a modified Royal Navy helicopter, has become this year's new stage, and it is also the most watched and praised creative stage of this music festival.
Designers transformed this devastating weapon designed to divide and destroy into a symbol of unity. As conflicts escalate around the world, this monument to change has become a monument to hope.
On the other hand, the metamorphosis of the first dragonfly marks the arrival of a new season and is universally recognized across cultures, first among the Australian Aboriginals. Each evening, representatives from Arcadia and Wadjuk Noongar conduct a Warraloo ceremony. It was a spectacular ceremony in which the dragonfly came to life and celebrated possibility in epic style, sparking reflection on climate change and how it can be combated through collaboration and the creative use of technology.
Dragonfly's production materials are mainly sourced from scrap factories. For example, the dragonfly legs are from scrap excavators, which have been modified to have realistic proportions. The stage device uses batteries that can be charged off-site, and the power comes from wind and solar energy. At the same time, the stage The surrounding flames are generated from bioethanol, in keeping with the festival's and Arcadia's environmental philosophy.
Visible from 15 miles away, laser beams wave in the dark night, the agile and spectacular wings of the Dragonfly. Hundreds of custom-made translucent screens are linked together to mimic an insect's compound eyes. The projection device installed on the body gives the dragonfly an extremely realistic and natural effect.
The movable head becomes a venue for artists to perform. During the performance, the head can swing left and right, and the mouth can be opened and closed. It’s a strange yet magical space where the DJ booth and stage are integrated to create an immersive audio-visual experience.
Arcadia returns to its roots with a deep reimagining of military machinery, creating a groundbreaking centerpiece for Arcadia's most epic stage yet, opening up a whole new level of music festival experience and setting a new benchmark.
Block 9

Realistic pseudo-religious monuments”. Produced using state-of-the-art video mapping technology, the sculptural piece presents a vision of the future of music from the cutting edge of today’s underground music
Pyramid Stage
The Pyramid Stage is the most familiar and iconic festival stage. The designer used the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt as a design blueprint and built a pyramid stage that is four times larger than the original pyramid.
The gleaming 30-metre-high steel structure covers an area of 40 meters by 40 meters, uses 4 kilometers of steel pipes and weighs more than 40 tonnes. All materials and production processes are adopted based on environmental protection concepts.
Woodsies
This is an amusement park of sound, where artists from different fields gather together for an audio-visual feast, exploring elements of art, folk, science and music. In the heart of the area, the Woodsies Main Stage will be the usual buzzy, passionate, high-octane atmosphere, with everything from indie rock and pop, Irish rap, punk and metal to pop and more to get people dancing to Beautiful music.
The Woodsies area, named after the fields of Worthy Farm on which it is located, is a new outdoor venue that combines the Woodsies main stage with a new tree stage, The Wood (complete with tree-to-tree walkway and interactive space) and Wood's Bar. With the introduction of the "tree stage", the area's styles are even more diverse. Located under a canopy of oak trees, this new outdoor venue focuses on creating immersive, atmospheric and experimental experiences.
What better place to immerse yourself in the natural world than in the woods? Entering the wilderness, the woods are the perfect counterpoint to the noisy arena and a space to reflect, find shade or discover yourself. An aerial walkway through the canopy takes people over Peter Pond. During the day, the woods are bathed in sunlight, and at night they turn into a charming dream world

Silver Hayes hopes to create change with optimism, combining forward-thinking electronic artists with positive action, debate, technology and design. This year's event features four stages that combine future-oriented design with musical talent: The Levels, Lonely Hearts Club, Firmly Rooted Soundsystem and Assembly.
Assembly replaced The Wow Stage and reimagined the WOW concept to create the first indoor venue in its field, which was well received by audiences and performers alike. The ceiling resembles the inside of a top, creating a magical feeling of being at a festival but also at a club. Gorgeous lights from overhead and soft red lasers penetrate the darkness, making it a check-in spot not to be missed by dance lovers.
the other stage
The other stage overlooks the Somerset Plains with direct access to Glastonbury Festival and Tower. It dates back to the festival's expansion in the late 1980s, with more new areas being introduced every year.

The Acoustic Stage
The acoustic stage is housed in a giant bright red tent and is billed as "the home of blues, folk, contemporary and country music." The theater-like stage design adds a unique atmosphere to the performance.

To this end, the organizers renovated and upgraded the stage and added a new stage, which expanded the scale of the music festival, accommodated more audiences, and provided a richer audio-visual experience, opening a new chapter for Austria's largest electronic music festival.
Main Stage
The newly designed ELF Mainstage is a perfect combination of technical marvels and color aesthetics, making it a venue for outstanding artists from all genres to perform, making it a spectacular stage that no attendee will miss. The grand opening and closing ceremonies are also held here, which represents the official start of the event.
Last year's main stage was eye-catching with its dazzling cubic wooden design. This year's main stage is presented with a new design, while retaining its unique Electric Love style, with a smoother shape and new lighting. Deeply impressed.
The designer uses a new structure - an inverted cube shape with a lattice structure to create a new visual experience while ensuring recognition. This new design will be used on other stages in the coming years. The center of the stage is an iconic heart-shaped pattern, and the bottom is an undulating curve like a hillside. It is decorated with natural turquoise and perfectly blends with the natural landscape of the event venue.
The main stage's new look took a construction crew of about 120 people a week and a half to complete. 250 tons of steel, 890 components, 180 speakers and 1,200 lamps together form a majestic and novel main stage, allowing it to shine brightly during the festival.
Hard Dance Valley
For dancers who like their hearts pumping and their BPMs over 150, Hard Dance Valley is the place for them. Whether it's Hardstyle, Raw, Hardcore, Frenchcore or Uptempo, join the party.
The overall style of the stage is reminiscent of a dock. Colorful containers form the background of the stage. Green vines spread over the historic lighthouse. The bricks are broken, the speakers are rusty, and the steel window edges are rusty. Even the DJ booth was shaped like an old iron locker, with huge propellers scattered on both sides of the stage, adding to the ocean feel.
The lighting system gives the stage flexible changes. Under the reflection of the lights, the stage looks like a childlike castle or a majestic giant wheel, bringing audio-visual enjoyment to all music fans.
Club Circus
Club Circus is home to the largest variety of music at the Electric Love Festival. Here, you can enjoy the most exquisite Tech House, wild Bass Music and shocking Techno.
Club Circus is located in a deep tent, with a large number of balloons hanging from the top of the tent, colorful like bubbles under the light, creating an exquisite and romantic atmosphere.
Heineken Star Club
Heineken Starclub is a gathering place for the rising stars of the scene. Music genres such as hip-hop are fused here to make our colorful playground even more colorful. EDM, parties, the famous Power Hour, the finest hip-hop and fresh live shows make Heineken Starclub a must-visit!
True to its name, the Heineken Starlight Club stage design retains its signature star decoration, set against a backdrop of four zigzagging pillars. The simple layout maintains the style of the previous stage and is highly recognizable.
Shutdown Stage
Feel the most intense rhythm on the Shutdown Stage. From raw hardcore to hardcore, uptempo and French styles, push the BPM to the limit! Just like the characteristics of the performance style, the stage design is also hard and sharp. The simple triangular steel frame structure and vertical sharp top are tough and full of wild power. The strong industrial style is perfectly integrated with the passionate music, pushing the atmosphere to a climax.
Awakenings 2024
In July, travel to beautiful Hilfalenbeek. This nature reserve near Amsterdam has been the venue for Awakenings since the first big carnival and features the most impressive stages, great line-ups, bizarre light shows and, of course, the best Techno.

Next, let us walk into Awakenings together and experience the shock of music, the spectacular stage, and the gorgeous lights.
V Area
On the riverside, cuboids are stacked up seemingly chaotically, but there is order in the chaos. The rough and scrawled shape perfectly matches the strong and dynamic rhythm of the live music, creating a wonderful experience unique to Awakenings.
There are screens at the end points of the cuboid device. The staggered structure allows the screens to meet the viewing needs of viewers in all corners to the greatest extent. When night falls, screens, lasers, and fireworks light up the venue, creating a warm atmosphere.
X Area
Multiple arc-shaped structures are interlaced and connected to form the stage in the W area, which is very beautiful. The arc-shaped structure is a screen strip composed of multiple small screens, which complements the live music, presents rich graphics, and leads the audience to dance together.
Structural beauty is reflected in every stage of Awakenings 2024. The rough and wild but technologically powerful stage and the dazzling light show ignite people's enthusiasm.
Darkshire Festival In The Woods 2024

The alternative stage is a highlight that cannot be missed at Darkshire. The unique stage, festival atmosphere and music are integrated to form an irreplaceable and exclusive experience of Darkshire.
Main Stage
This is a spectacular stage made of branches. Except for the main structure of the stage, it is all decorated with branches. With the DJ booth as the center and lights placed outwards, the overall stage is shaped like a giant eye, staring at the people who come to the party. The DJ booth is located in the center of the "pupil" and attracts everyone's attention.
The simple and primitive stage presents rich, varied and amazing changes under the projection equipment. In keeping with the forest environment, the projection full of original natural atmosphere makes this ordinary "eye" bloom with wonderful and brilliant colors, and perfectly integrates with the surrounding environment.
24 lamps are on standby in the center of the stage and around the DJ booth, spreading the charm of the stage further in the dark night. The main stage is filled with light and becomes the focus of the festival. Minimalist lighting design brings a rich and moving visual experience.
Lake Stage
Take a refreshing swim and listen to dynamic music by the naturally beautiful lake. At Lake Stage, you are not just a festival audience, you are a participant. Among the green mountains and green waters, let yourself go and feel the joy of freedom.
The overall stage frame is made of wooden materials, and the stage is decorated with trees. Echoing the lake background, the stage layout is also related to water, with red ropes woven into the shape of a fishing net, which is unique.
Forest Stage
Everything on the stage is related to trees, whether it’s the iconic head in the center of the stage or the arch above. Even the sides of the stage and the DJ booth are imitating the texture of trees. The Forest Stage is both independent of and integrated into the forest, creating a magical festival experience for attendees.
Not just the stage, everything about the festival is closely related to forest trees. There are also a large number of strange installations with trees as the protagonists in the venue, which are strange and fascinating.
